If you’ve ever wanted to target a captive audience of receptive customers similar to those already on your databases then this could well be the tool for you.
Imitation is the greatest form of flattery and investing in lookalikes could massively flatter your sales outreach activities. What are we talking about? A little thing called Facebook Lookalike Audiences. “Lookalike audiences let you reach new people who are likely to be interested in your business because they’re similar to customers you care about,” according to Facebook’s Help Centre.

So what does that mean for you and your business? Quite a lot actually, according to Digital Marketing guru, Jeff Bullas. “Let’s say you have an email marketing database over 5,000 contacts and are in the heating and cooling industry,” he says. “You can upload this onto Facebook’s advertising platform and target the EXACT demographic similar to your existing customers! This is a neat feature that advertisers should at least test during the upcoming year,” he added.
