Fluid Controls Ltd is one of the UK’s leading distributors for pressure control. Founded in 1988, they are firmly established as preferred suppliers to many world-leading manufacturers and blue chip companies. Fluid Controls represent many globally recognised suppliers, distributing high quality instrumentation and pressure control equipment to a broad range of industries.

Their extensive portfolio of premium control and instrumentation solutions include products from Parker Hannifin’s Instrumentation Division, Parker Balston Filters, Partek and UHP products, Bürkert Fluid Control Valves, Wika Gauges, Thompson Valves Regulators, Malema Flow switches, Perma Pure Nafion Products and Valex Electropolished Tube and Fittings available from stock.

Project Brief

Fluid Controls Ltd made the decision to embrace digital marketing to build a long-term, sustainable influx of enquiries to their business. Digital marketing was seen as the most powerful and cost-effective method to generate new business and market share. Their existing website presented a risk, in terms of being a bespoke solution specific to their existing website developer – making ongoing results and costs unpredictable and difficult to quantify.

Therefore, we were tasked with building a brand new website platform built on solid foundations. A site that was scalable and sustainable, and would allow for SEO results to be realised. We were also entrusted to deliver a suite of supportive integrated Content Marketing and Paid Search (PPC) campaigns to boost their online authority, website traffic and subsequent business leads.

We embarked on the full design and development of a WordPress website with full CMS functionality. As part of this service, we conducted thorough competitor, industry and consumer research to inform the website’s design and features. Liaising closely with Fluid Controls at every stage of the website build, we took care of everything from the initial concept visuals through to integrating effective data capture measures. We ensured that the website was fully optimised, crawlable to Google’s index, and replete with relevant social channels.

We continue to deliver our intermediate Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) package, which includes ongoing site management and optimisation, continued content creation and strategic back-link generation. Plus, Fluid Controls benefit from an ongoing integrated Paid Search campaign, which encompasses competitor and keyword research; campaign build, optimisation and management; and cost-analysis recommendations.

We also publish regular optimised content on Process Industry Forum, our respected PR platform for the engineering sector. This additional service ensured that Fluid Controls achieved page one Google rankings for their keywords within 24 hours and high authority back-links to their own website; a critical determinant for SEO excellence.
