The WATCH Lab is a family business run by brothers Jonathan and Jeremy Barker. Since opening its first branch in 2000, the company employed a Rolex Accredited Watchmaker to set the standards for all watch repairs. It has grown to become a national company, opening its 16th branch in December 2015. They have accounts with virtually every major watch brand and have secured Head Office Accreditation from Omega, Longines, Rado, Tissot and numerous others.

Project Brief

The WATCH Lab enlisted KW Digital to undertake the full set-up and ongoing daily management of all their PPC activities. We have continued to oversee the ongoing daily management of all their PPC campaigns, including adjusting bids; matching keywords; adding negative keywords; managing against quality scores; and optimising landing pages.

Our main objectives when assigning a partner and embarking on a programme of PPC was to increase branch enquiries across all of our locations and to increase footfall in the shops. We wanted results fast and we were prepared to invest a significant budget in getting them.

KWS have done a superb job on our PPC campaign. They developed and set-up a very complex campaign that targeted geographical traffic, driving enquiries to the branches, whilst keeping our overall adwords spend reasonably low. Something we have found really valuable is the level of conversion tracking on our campaign, we manage to capture 90% of our conversions using different techniques. This has allowed us to make informed decisions about how we spend our PPC and overall marketing budget moving forward.

The main positive from working with KWS is they always keep an eye on the return on investment, it honestly feels like we have an internal resourse working on the campaign and we trust them entirely. In summary, our ROI is high, our adwords spend is decreasing and our conversion rate is over 20%.
