01. Background

Electric Fields is a family-friendly music festival based at Drumlanrig Castle in Scotland, that attracts people from all over the UK. Situated in a remote location, Electric Fields needed to significantly increase brand awareness and, in turn, improve ticket sales for the event.

Highly recommended by our other Festival clients Bluedot and Kendal Calling, KW Digital were given the opportunity to create social media and PPC campaigns for Electric Fields. With such unique selling-points for the festival, we were excited to begin all of our magical digital marketing processes, all the while pretending we were joining them in throwing shapes in Scotland.

02. What we did

In order to maximise reach, we implemented campaigns across multiple channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Google Search, Google Display, and YouTube.

We performed an audience and competitor analysis to better understand the desired customer for audience targeting.

After noticing that certain audience groups were quicker to convert than others, we implemented different remarketing lists over different periods of time, to reflect this.

Making use of the customer marketing funnel, we created campaigns with different objectives to service different stages of user journey (awareness, consideration, conversion and remarketing).
